In September, I accompanied my husband to Paris for one of his conferences. We stayed almost a week at this charming hotel in the 16th Arrondisement. Our room was on the sixth floor on Rue Marbeau, close to several consulates. You could see the Eiffel Tower off in the distance. I have enjoyed the chimney pots on roofs in France ever since the 80's, when my sister Martha had a seventh floor apartment in Lyon.
